Tasting notes: Pale gold hue with greenish tints. Fine, elegant bubbles. Expressive and complex nose with hints of yellow-fleshed fruit and delicate spices. On a second nose, the wine opens with a lightly toasted aroma and touches of praline and lime blossom finely lemon. Broad on entry to the palate with a lovely creamy mousse. Chiselled and savoury on the mid-palate. Lovely persistence with delicately smoky and spicy notes.

About the winery:
The Pic and Chapoutier families have known each other for many years. They come from the same region of France and share a passion for creating perfect pairings, matching the finest of dishes with the choicest of wines. Therefore, an 'oenological' collaboration between Anne-Sophie Pic and Michel Chapoutier was only a matter of time. It all started with one wine. From a few hectares of land in Saint-Peray, owned by the Pic family. Michel Chapoutier gave this vineyard a new lease of life. The first joint wine was born.
